At TomoWork, we believe that Abilities, Belonging, Leadership, Empowerment (A.B.L.E) are the key success factors in achieving the goal of an inclusive workplace. We embarked on the TomoWork A.B.L.E. Webinar series at the height of COVID-19, when we were seeking stability in a time of uncertainty. We felt that this was a crucial time to foreground the importance of Diversity & Inclusion by opening up a dialogue on how Persons with Disabilities & Corporates can work in tandem to build inclusive ecosystems.
Going forward, we want to ensure that we uplift everyone as we recover, rebuild, and reach new heights.

A.B.L.E. Webinar : The Inclusive Future of Work
Date: Thursday, 25 Feb 2021
Time: 10:00 am – 11:30 am (GMT +8)
COVID-19 has fundamentally changed the way that we work, giving rise to more digital job opportunities and growing acceptance to remote working. However, it raises some important questions: How can we harness these gains to make the workforce more inclusive? What changes will we see in the demand for digital skills? What more can we do?
In this event, we will hear a variety of perspectives on the inclusive future of work from our panellists:
- Mr Lim Wei Wah from Microsoft, who is responsible for Microsoft’s key site infrastructure & cloud initiative across Asia
- Mr Peter Liem, a deaf professional & proven trailblazer with international working experience in FinTech & RegTech
- Mr Samuel Wee, an educator passionate in supporting students with special needs, driving student support & career services at Temasek Polytechnic
The conversation will be moderated by Ms Jiezhen Wu, a consultant & coach at The Possibilities Playbook.
TomoWork is an initiative built on empowering Persons with Disabilities in the workplace by encouraging companies to embrace diversity & promote inclusive employment. Led by Sumitomo Life Insurance, a leading Japanese insurer, in collaboration with Hide & Seek, a local social enterprise & member of raiSE.
